The Restore Leadership School comprises of 3 x 8 week modules over the course of a year (starting September 2017) and is open to anyone who wishes to develop their Leadership Skills for life inside and outside of Church life.
Over the course, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your current leadership skills and behaviours and develop these further through a mix of individual learning, group activities, discussion and sharing best practice.
The course will be delivered 7.30 – 9.30pm on Mondays, at Trinity Church, Mannock Drive, Loughton, IG10 2JD and will cost £50 for the year or £20 per module, with concessions available.
Module 1 – The Cause of a Leader
“For This I Was Born: Aligning Your Vision to God’s Cause” (Brian Houston)
In this module we will be asking, what is God’s vision for His people? How do we corporately live that out in a 21st century culture? And how am I uniquely made to play my part?
Module 2 – The Competence of a Leader
“Everyone wins when a leader gets better” (Bill Hybels)
The second module will focus on the best leadership principles from around the world, including looking at books such as Good to Great by Jim Collins, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R Covey, Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels and more
Module 3 – The Character of a Leader
“It’s your gift that gets you there, it’s your character that keeps you there” (John Wooden)
The final module will focus on building strong foundations to ensure longevity. Subjects will include knowing God, developing Godly habits, being real and being accountable.
